| QUESTION: Will this work on my 2005 R1 (headers) and you talk about horsepower gains what are we looking at and how with the headers being wrapped and anything else I can wrap that produces heat. O'yeah how much of this will I need to wrap my bike. |
| ANSWER: This product will NOT work on your exhaust headers, which can easily exceed 850F. It is for protecting materials external to your header that may be deteriorated by their proximity to the heat source. Please use conventional heat wrap that will handle 2000F for your headers. |

| QUESTION: I am looking for a product that can be used to protect electronic PCBs in a thermal chamber. The chamber goes from 85C to -40C. It is the 85C I want to be protected from. The electronics will be in a box with the heat flow outside the box. If this was wrapped on the outside of the box would it reflect heat away from the box? Also how much heat will be radiated away from the box? |
| ANSWER: Wraping the outside of the box will reflect heat away from the box. Reflect-A-Gold will reflect about 75% to 80% of the radiant heat. |
