| ANSWER: freeway travel best will be 15 or 16 front with a 39 or 40 rear

| QUESTION: I just picked up a 2000 drz400 and would like to lower the gears for better trail riding the curent chain, front and rear sprockes are new but would replace as needed any recomendations thanks |
| ANSWER: go one down in the front to a 14 |
