The Q&A on this Product

QUESTION: What would you recommend for general street use as I commute as much as possible on some good twisties and then on weekends I am at Mosquito Ridge if that name helps you? Very technical 35 – 50 mph stuff!!

ANSWER: I would recommend the Galfer G1375 compound which is also known as the HH pads. This will provide also some track usage also. Just a reminder to all that change pads or apply new pads to old or new rotors. Clean your rotors is a must to get the most out of your pad life and bite. You do this by using 600 grit WET sandpaper and apply to a spinning rotor. This will create a clean rotor surface for the pads to set it.

QUESTION: Do you guys carry the Galfer pads for a 2003 SV650S? If not, what are my options for brake pads?

ANSWER: Galfer has left and right pads for your bike they are FD179 for the right FD174 for the left side of the caliper. The compounds that are available is G1054 Semi Metallic (black) GG G1532 Kevlar (green) GG G1370 Sintered (gold) HH
