| ANSWER: They are not connected to your battery. Each light has a small, replaceagle battery in it. They are motion activated and only come on if you are moving. |

| ANSWER: They screw on to a standard valve stems. If they came off when you were moving, they would be no big deal. They are plastic and would be less offensive than running over a rock. |
